Handcrafted with locally-sourced elephant grass, a time-honoured material that Ghanaian Artisans have used to make African baskets for centuries. This Nestled Woven Basket Set is great for collecting toys, towels and make it easier to find what you need and keep the room looking neat and uncluttered. The Nestled baskets are made by a weaver in our design workshop in Accra, Ghana. Ancestral weaving skills have been passed forward from generation to generation. Handwoven from a sustainably sourced, durable fibre, this set takes roughly 3 days to complete when Artisans work in groups. All of our Nestled Woven Basket sets are made by a group of single weaving male Artisans in our design workshop in Accra, Ghana, who have learned this skillset from community figures during their childhood.
